Pavo SpeediBeet is a high-quality roughage that contributes to healthy digestion. It is made from desugared flakes from sugar beet pulp and contains no additives, which means no molasses is included. The flakes undergo a patented cooking process, which results in a product that swells quickly - 10 minutes - in both cold and hot water. Practical, simple and healthy for all horses.

Pavo SpeediBeet contains no starch and only 5% sugar. This means it is an ideal feed for horses that are prone to laminitis. We are proud to have received recognition from "The Laminitis Trust".

Pavo SpeediBeet contains a large amount of pectin, which is a soluble fiber that is even easier for the body to absorb than the fibers in roughage. This is why this beet pulp is a fantastic source of slow-release energy, perfectly suited for competition horses. Pectin has a prebiotic effect, which means that the fibers support the growth of good bacteria in the intestine, which is of utmost importance for a well-functioning intestinal function.

SpeediBeet is categorized as roughage and does not contain any added vitamins or minerals. If you only feed Pavo SpeediBeet with your other roughage, we recommend that you add e.g. Pavo Vital to get enough vitamins and minerals.

NOTE - IMPORTANT!: Pavo SpeediBeet can only be fed in a swollen form. Make sure to store the feed in a safe place so that no horses accidentally running loose can access it.

Many people make the mistake of mixing Pavo SpeediBeet into a meal. We advise you to mix SpeediBeet in the proportions 1:5, or in other words 1 kg SpeediBeet to 5 liters of water. Unfortunately, in practice, many people believe that you can take 1 measure of Pavo SpeediBeet and mix it with 5 measures of water. If you do this, you will get a very wet mixture (the water will settle on top).

• Give as a useful supplement to the feed: 50 grams per 100 kg body weight per day.
• Maximum dose when feeding as part of the roughage ration: 400 grams per 100 kg body weight per day
• Preparation: Mix 1 part Pavo Speedibeet with 3 parts water. Mix well and wait at least 10 minutes before feeding.

• Mix 1 measure of SpeediBeet with 3 measures of water.
  
• Mix ½ measure of SpeediBeet with 1.5 measures of water
  
• Mix 1 cup of SpeediBeet with 3 cups of water

Why does this happen?

• 1 measure of SpeediBeet = 760 grams
  
• 1 measure of water = 1.5 liters

If you mix one measure of SpeediBeet (760 grams) with 5 measures of water (7.5 liters of water), the proportions will be almost 1 to 10.

You should let 1 measure of SpeediBeet swell in 5*760 grams = 3.8 liters of water, which corresponds to approximately 3 measures of water.

TIP

Since Pavo SpeediBeet contains very little sugar and no molasses, many horses have to get used to the taste. Mix SpeediBeet with concentrate feed for the first few days, or add a little Pavo SlobberMash.
